On November 3rd, 2019, two US F-35 stealth fighters intercepted a Russian Tu-160 that was flying a regular training mission over the Sea of Japan. Being intercepted by American jets was unpleasant for the Russian bomber. But first, allow me to share a different bomber-fighter intercept scenario that is precisely related to what the Russian bomber did to the American F-35s. Once upon a time, somewhere above the US, an F-14 Tomcat stopped a B-52 bomber and yelled, “HEY GRANDPA, YOU'RE SO BIG AND SO USELESS, HUH, WHAT YOU CAN DO, I CAN DO 100 TIMES BETTER.“ After accepting the challenge, the B-52 spoke the phrase, “NOW TRY THIS.“ The F-14 questioned, “What did you do?“ Then the B-52 said, “I JUST SHUT DOWN TWO OF MY EIGHT ENGINES.“ Returning to the Sea of Japan, a bomber once again used its engines to roast a fighter jet. The Tu-160 ignited its afterburners and left the F-35s behind. Although the bomber was visible on the F-35's radars, they were unable to catch up with it because it was flying very fast. #shorts #youtubeshorts #us #f35 #russian #tu160 #bomber #2019
