The GAZ-2975 “Tiger“ is a Russian HMV (High Mobility Vehicle) manufactured by GAZ (Russian: ГАЗ) or “Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod“, translated as Gorky Automobile Plant (Russian: Го́рьковский автомоби́льный заво́д), in Nizhny Novgorod (Russian: Ни́жний Но́вгород), Russian Federation. The vehicle is the Russian answer to the American Humvee, powered by GAZ-562 Typ P6 turbo-charged 6-cylinder longitudinal Diesel engine with 3,200 cc capacity, delivering 145 kW (197 bhp) @ 3,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 450 Nm @ 2,000 rpm
