The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement came into effect for the Philippines on Friday, marking the entry into force of the RCEP agreement for all 15 members. As the world's largest free trade area, RCEP is a guarantee of multilateral openness among countries. More than 90% of the goods covered by trade will be subject to zero tariffs. The RCEP is important for participating countries to work together to address uncertainties in the international landscape and stabilize industrial supply chains.
