Meditation has been practiced for thousands of years. Its origins can be traced back to ancient India, where it was initially developed as a spiritual practice. It is a powerful tool to clear the mind, heal the body and let the energy flow undisturbed. 🌿 Meditation: HOW TO DO IT? • Find a Quiet Space: Choose a quiet and peaceful place where you won't be disturbed during your meditation session. Sit in a comfortable position, either on the floor or in a chair, with your back straight. • Relax: Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax your body and mind. Let go of any tension or stress. • Set an Intention: Before you begin, set an intention for your meditation session. It could be to find inner peace, reduce stress, or gain spiritual insight. • Focus on Your Breath: After chanting, shift your attention to your breath. Observe the natural rhythm of your breath without trying to control it. This helps in calming the mind. • Inner Silence: As you meditate, aim to find moments of inner silence between your thoughts. When thoughts arise (and they will), acknowledge them without judgment and gently bring your focus back to your breath. • Bell of Reminder: The sound of singing bowl is a reminder to bring your awaresness back to your breath. • End with Gratitude: When you're ready to conclude your meditation session, take a few deep breaths, and gradually open your eyes. Sit quietly for a moment and express gratitude for the time you've spent meditating. • Consistency: Meditation is most effective when done regularly. Try to make it a daily practice, even if it's just for a few minutes. 🌿 SUBSCRIBE For more meditation music, chants, nature soundscapes, ambient music and learning about ancestral knowledge subscribe to my channel: 🌿 YOGIS I seek inspiration from ancient cultures and tribes. This video is inpired by Indian yogis. Some things I find interesting about them: Ancient Origins: Yoga has its roots in ancient India, with the earliest recorded practices dating back over 5,000 years. The word “yoga“ is derived from the Sanskrit word “yuj,“ which means to unite or join, symbolizing the union of mind, body, and spirit. Search for Enlightenment: Many yogis follow a path of seeking enlightenment or self-realization, striving to connect with their inner divinity and attain liberation (moksha) from the cycle of birth and death (samsara). Yogis are known for their dedication to meditation, often spending hours or even days in deep meditation to attain higher states of consciousness and spiritual insight. Mantra and Chanting: Yogis frequently use mantras and chanting to elevate their consciousness. The repetition of sacred sounds or words is believed to have a profound spiritual effect. Mastery of Pranayama: Pranayama, the control of breath, is a key element of yogic practice. Advanced yogis have mastered pranayama techniques to influence the flow of life force energy (prana) in the body. Siddhis and Miracles: In some yogic traditions, advanced practitioners are said to attain siddhis, which are supernatural powers. These powers are seen as byproducts of deep spiritual realization and are not the primary focus of yogic practice. 🌿 THANK YOU SO MUCH I am very grateful to everyone who support me by listening to my meditation and healing music, giving me your feedback and sending good energy.
