Titles read: “Something New in Musical Experiments. Reymos, The Ventromusician, demonstrates a novel instrument.“ London (probably Pathe Studio). M/S of 'Ventromusician' Reymos, standing and playing a musical instrument that he invented. It has 220 strings on several flat boards that are arranged to be played for musical accompaniment rather than melodies - it sounds like a harp. Reymos then slides a glass tumbler up and down the strings to simulate the sound of a human voice. He talks to the 'voice' and gets it to recite 'Old Mother Hubbard'. He then plays the instrument and hums along with it; not sure what the tune is, it could be 'The Lost Chord'. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ. EXPLORE OUR ONLINE CHANNEL, BRITISH PATHÉ TV.
