The New York Times reports that the head of FEMA’s Urban Search and Rescue unit has resigned. Ken Pagurek claimed the Trump administration was causing “chaos“ inside the agency, according to the outlet. This comes after FEMA’s response to the deadly flooding in Kerrville, Texas. It’s been nearly three weeks since fast-rising floodwaters damaged homes and camps along the Guadalupe River, including Camp Mystic, where 27 campers and counselors died.
