On November 4, 2024, Attack Tohoku returned to the stunning Sports Land Sugo, held alongside the annual Team Good Luck Festival. This event has become a staple for kicking off the new season of Attack with its unique charm and atmosphere. Join us as we explore the paddock and watch the action unfold on track throughout the day. Unlike the high-intensity vibe of other Attack venues, Attack Tohoku offers a more relaxed setting, perhaps reflecting the slower pace of Miyagi prefecture. The driver list, though much, much shorter than at Attack Tsukuba, is packed with dedicated racers who favor Sugo as their testing ground for the upcoming season. Some of them we don't get to see often at Tsukuba, so traveling North is usually worth it. The late Fall scenery at Sugo never fails to impress. Surrounded by a lush forest of evergreens and vibrant foliage, the circuit becomes very much a visual landscape. This year saw pretty mild weather, warm with blue skies, which, while not ideal for racing or photography, makes a great climate for enjoying some coffee overlooking the track. This Summer in Japan has lasted a bit longer than usual, and we don't see the typically Autumn foliage as we usually do in late October, early November. Sugo was much more green this time around, but still a very nice backdrop.
