DOJ exploring ways to prohibit transgender Americans from gun ownership

We are now learning that senior Justice Department officials are thinking about limiting transgender people’s right to keep and own firearms. This comes after the Minneapolis Catholic church shooting last week. LiveNOW’s Mike Pache is learning about the legality of such an idea with Robert McWhirter, a Constitutional Law Attorney. We heard this week from Sen. Tina Smith of Minnesota on gun control, saying, ‘make it make sense’. The Minnesota senator shared the details of victims recovering following the Minneapolis mass shooting. Sen.
