Petzl IKO CORE - How to use

Learn how to use some of the key features of the Petzl IKO CORE headlamp. The rechargeable IKO CORE headlamp represents an innovative leap forward in headlamp design. Weighing only 79 grams, its patented AIRFIT headband requires considerably less contact area and compression than a standard elastic strap, making it almost imperceptible on the head. Made of hydrophobic and semi-rigid materials the AIRFIT headband doesn’t absorb rain or sweat and is easily adaptable right out of the box into a freestanding lantern and is collapsible for storage. The thin lamp body rotates 180 degrees for better light positioning and features seven LEDs that produce a clean and uniform beam and delivers 500 lumens of maximum brightness. IKO CORE is optimally balanced because of the rear-mounted battery pack and doesn’t require a pesky pig-tail cable. Sold with the Petzl CORE rechargeable battery, the IKO CORE is designed around the HYBRID CONCEPT that allows standard AAA batteries to be used without an adapter. With AAA batteries, the IKO CORE delivers 350 lumens of maximum brightness.
