Laser “Courier” (“Courier“) UGV The engineering troops of the Southern Group of Forces, together with the developers of the UGV Courier, conducted successful field tests of the Ignis laser demining system, mounted on the unified Courier platform. Importantly, the laser unit is domestically produced. The primary function of the laser system is demining by burning explosive devices without detonation. In the field test footage presented, the Courier with the laser installation successfully incinerates various types of mines at a distance of 150 meters. This makes it possible to neutralize explosive devices without risk to personnel or damage to infrastructure—for example, in clearing mine barriers or explosive objects on runways.
