Assassins Creed Valhalla is another continuation of the famous series from developers from the huge company Ubisoft. Valhalla became the 12th part of the franchise, expanding the universe and continuing the development of the story of both a girl named Layla Hassan, connected to the Animus in the present time, and the centuries-old war between the Assassin and Templar orders in the past. The genre is a story-based role-playing adventure with large branches of leveling up the main character and his equipment, with a huge amount of action and stealth. Most of the game mechanics remain the same, with some modifications. The creator's main focus was again on quests, assignments and other activities located on the map. All presented types of activities available to the user have become even more diverse and elaborate so that the gamer does not get tired of monotony. The setting of the new part of the series is ancient England of the 9th century, the territory of which is torn apart by various kingdoms and Vikings, who are conducting land conquests for their own needs. The single-player campaign begins in the year 873, and more specifically, with the beginning of the journey of a warrior named Eivor. His goal is to leave the borders of Norway with his relatives and skilled soldiers in order to find better housing for all participants in the adventure than in the bitterly cold Scandinavia. Throughout the entire story, the player will be confronted by troops and senior officials of 4 kingdoms located on the territory of present-day Great Britain: Wessex, East Anglia, Mercia and Northumbria.
