Mass protests have erupted in Istanbul: “The unrest arose due to dissatisfaction among supporters of the opposition Republican People’s Party with Erdogan’s policies. On the eve, Istanbul authorities banned rallies and demonstrations in six districts of the city, including central ones; the decision will be in effect for more than three days.
