A vision is turning into reality, as the BMW Vision iNEXT becomes the BMW iX. The BMW iX is the symbol for a new era of mobility at BMW. Conceived for fully electric driving pleasure from the outset, it completely redefines the successful concept of the BMW Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). With its newly developed, precise and minimalist design, the BMW iX is the first model in a future-oriented generation of automobiles, which are redefining the driving experience, the feeling of space, and the relationship between the car and its passengers. Propulsion comes courtesy of the fifth generation of BMW eDrive technology. The drivetrain developed by the BMW Group generates, according to the latest calculations, more than 370 kW/500 hp, and allows a range of over 600 kilometres in WLTP cycle. That’s the equivalent of more than 300 miles according to EPA test cycle FTP-75.
