Exactly one year ago today, eight shots were fired at the Butler Farm Show Grounds in northwestern Pennsylvania. The shots rang out roughly six minutes after then-presumptive GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump took the stage at an open-air rally. LiveNOW’s Andy Mac is hearing from veteran political reporter Salena Zito, who was standing feet from the presidential podium one year ago in Butler. President Donald Trump also made an appearance at the Club World Cup final taking place this weekend at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This all takes place one year after that campaign rally assassination attempt in Pennsylvania. Later investigations revealed that the 20-year-old gunman who attempted to assassinate President Trump last summer experienced a “descent into madness“ prior to the incident. This was reportedly marked by apparently having conversations with someone that wasn’t there. Subscribe to LiveNOW from FOX!
