Umm Ali/Arabic bread pudding / ام علي The famous Egyptian dessert. Quick and easy to make. Rich with milk and cream. I used normal bread instead of croissant. Ingredients: Bread slices -6-8 Condensed milk -1/2 cup Milk-2 cups Orange blossom -1 to 2 teaspoon ( optional) Cinnamon stick -1 inch piece For the topping: Nuts of your choice I used raisins and pistachios (2-3 tablespoon each) Thick cream-125 ml Condensed milk -2-3 tablespoon method: 1. Cut the bread slices into small cubes. 2. Mix milk, condensed milk, cinnamon stick and orange blossom and heat the milk untill reaches boiling point. No need to boil. 3. Remove the Cinnamon stick. 4. Pour the hot milk over the bread and sprinkle some nuts. 4. Top with thick cream and condensed milk ad spread evenly. 5. Garnish with the remaining nuts. 6.
