Бандонеон - Michael Dolak - Seleccin De Tangos

Michael Dolak was born in 1979 in Leipzig, Germany. He studied computer science, music science, theatre science and German language and literature for several years, during which time, however, he was mainly working as an accordion player and singer. He came into contact with Argentine Tango and was founder of tango quintets “mondfarben“ and “El Ultimo Tango“ as well as the jazz sextet “Dolak/Herrmann-Sextett“. Furthermore he worked with the guitarist Sina Neumärker from Dresden, was soloist with the “Orquesta Recuerdo De Piazzolla“ and a member of the “Akkordeonorchester Leipzig“. As a singer he was founder of the a capella quintet “Mamakriminal“ and a member of “Stimme Pur“ and the “Humboldt-Chor Leipzig“. After playing accordion for 17 years, Michael decided to learn the bandoneón and devote himself completely to tango. To this end, from 2003-2007, he studied bandoneón in the Argentine Tango department of the “Rotterdam Academy for World Music“, taking lessons with Victor Hugo Villena, Leo Vervelde and Gustavo Beytelmann. Currently Michael is a member of “Cuarteto Rotterdam“, the “Luis Borda Cuarteto“, the orquesta típica “Guardia Cadenera “, several duos (e.g. with the violinist Susanne Cordula Welsch and the guitarist Sina Neumärker) and guest of “Cantango Berlin“, the orquesta típica “Con Sabor A Tango“ and “Konrad Kater Kapelle“.
