My BC family law firm's policy is to never enter into a BC family law contingency agreement. Family law contingency agreements are mostly shady business practices that end up having the client pay exponentially more to the lawyer than he/she really should for the work done. A good family lawyer should always put the client's best interests ahead of his/her own pocket.
