In 2019 15000 spectators descended on Hulst for the Vestingcross. Now in its fourth edition, the course is a great one, all in the shadow of the imposing windmill, which it also goes through on each lap. In 2019 Mathieu van der Poel had Toon Aerts and Tom Pidcock for company before riding away to victory. It’s definitely also a course that suits the likes of Anne Marie Worst who finished runner up last year, while there were also strong performances from American Katy Compton and CCC Liv’s Inge van der Heij
