Antonia Rodríguez was a Spanish-born singer and actress, half-sister of singer Roberto Blanco. She debuted on record in 1975 singing a song called Valentino before she was signed to Ralph Siegel's Jupiter Records in Germany in 1977. After another unsuccessful single El Burro, she made some noise in the summer of 1978 with her disco version of La Bamba, produced by Horst Hornung, which then leading her on to completing a full album with him, Dance With Me, released February 1979 which contained her next single My Crazy Family. A non-album single followed later that year, Bad-Eyed Bandit, before she disappeared from public view. La Bamba was re-issued in 1983/84 and enjoyed some continued club success. I have expanded the album with the B-side track Sweet Love, the 1979 single Bad-Eyed Bandit, and the Wally MacDonald remix of La Bamba. 00:00 A1. Dance With Me 04:38 A2. Come On And Samba 08:46 A3.
