The Portuguese Alphabet are essential when you will need to spell things, like your name, using Portuguese letters. Luckily for English speakers, the Portuguese alphabet uses the same 26 letters, although K, Y, and W are only used in loanwords. Sometimes Portuguese letters have accents, which will be covered in a later lesson.
