Hi, thank you for tuning in. In this video I make a handmade pair of service boots. You can see the full bootmaking process from cutting the leather by hand, sewing the upper, prepare the insole for the handwelting and making a sewing thread out of ramie using only my hands and cobbler wax. Also you will find the handlasting process, the handwelting process and edge finishing. Instead of a steelshank I use a leather shank. This was priority from the customer. The last is from Spenlé in Germany. The bottom leather for insole and midsole comes from tannery Martin in Germany. For the upper leather I used vegtan leather from tannery Kobel in northern Germany.
