This tape of the final time the Nels Cline Trio played in California is probably my best Rock-Streadi-Cam recording of Nels, and Norton Wisdom who painted on a huge three-panel canvas throughout the show. I recorded audio on an 8-channel ADAT machine, mixed the audio and sync'ed it to the video later through a totally analog process. The music seems mostly improvised and is perhaps not Nels' most accessible music, but the painting and video are amazing. Rather than a video of a painting, this is a video
