Inspired by an old Project14 Contest, Andy decides to make a jumbo-sized version of the WS2812B RGB LED. Not happy with the 10x and 20x prototypes he made, he decides to go bigger and make a 100x scale model of the LED. The project uses a WS2811 chip to control 3 power MOSFETs via a MOSFET driver chip. As the voltages and currents are higher than usual, calculations are needed to select the right heatsinks for the application.
