Between the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Galaxy S23 Ultra in this SSD speed test the iPhone is the clear winner and it's not even close. The USB-C performance of the iPhone is much better, as to be expected with its 10Gb/s data rate as opposed the S23 Ultra's 5Gb/s. However, the S23 Ultra was nowhere near it's maximum rated bandwidth/data rate and was a lot slower than 5Gb/s. Both the phones have 512GB internal storage and the Samsung T7 external USB-C SSD is 1TB.
