Brit completes run length of Africa Former gambling and drinking addict Russell Cook is set to become the first man to run the length of Africa Sunday as he completes the final marathon in his 352-day challenge Sunday. Despite his original plan to run 360 marathons in 240 days with no break being disrupted by Algerian visa problems, armed robbery in Angola and a health scare in Nigeria, Cook will reach the continent’s northernmost tip, Ras ben Sakka in Tunisia, later Sunday. After being begged to slow down by doctors, Cook simply replied: “No bone damage so figured the only option left was to stop mincing about like a little weasel.“ Source: RT News
