Marcus Gronholm to compete in British Rallycross Championship Two-time World Rally Champion Marcus Gronholm is going to make a one-off appearance in Round 5 of the British Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill that takes place on the August 29th Bank Holiday. Since retiring from the World Championship, Gronholm has made several appearances in rally cross including winning on his debut in the European Rallycross Championship in Sweden in 2008. In 2011, Gronholm has been competing in the Global RallyCross Championship in the United States driving a Ford Fiesta Mk7 for the OMSE/Best Buy Rallycross team. With a 100% winning record in the GRC, Gronholm heads to Los Angeles for X Games 17 as one of the favorites for the Gold Medal.
