Why did a team of deep sea divers say they encountered underwater beings in the world’s oldest lake. Today, we take a look at what this team of underwater discovers encountered in this lake. In the late 1980s, Russian Navy divers were conducting routine training exercises in Lake Baikal, the world’s deepest and oldest lake located in Siberia. However, what they discovered during one of their dives was anything but routine. Several of the divers reported encountering strange humanoid creatures, sparking intense interest and speculation about what they had seen.
