Darius Goes West the roll of his life

A trailer for a feature length documentary called Darius Goes West: The Roll of his Life. The movie is scheduled for completion in the winter of 2006 and will appear at film fesitvals worldwide in 2007. It is about a fifteen year old, named Darius Weems, who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Darius’s brother Mario, passed away of the same disease at age nineteen. Darius is sixteen now. Having never seen the ocean, a mountain, or even left his hometown of Athens, GA. Darius, along with 11 friends took a road trip to evaluate wheelchair accessibility across America, raise awareness for DMD, and try to get Darius’s wheelchair PIMPED on MTV’s hit show PIMP MY RIDE.
