This rotor was inside a dynamotor from the 1960s, used to operate radio transceiver and more, probably in the military. In the video test the rotor works in combination with an external magnet. The influence of the magnetic field drives the rotor movement at high speed producing current. The iron plate under the wood base is only for attaching the magnet to it. Of course, this type of current generation system does not conform to the true nature of the current generated by the dynamotor. The battery's ampere output is roughly 4.5
