The Piano Sonata No. 14 in C-sharp minor, Op. 27, No. 2 (better known as the Moonlight Sonata) is a musical work written by German composer Ludwig van Beethoven between 1800 and 1801. Both sonatas of Opus 27 (Nos. 13 and 14) have the title Sonata quasi una fantasia[3]. The music critic Ludwig Relstadt called the first movement of the sonata (Adagio sostenuto) “lunar“ in 1832, five years after the composer's death - he compared the work to “moonlight over Lake Fyrwaldstedt“. #луннаясоната #бетховен #moonlight
