Here's my cover of Harold Faltermeyer's “Top Gun Anthem“! The song is part of my new “Synthesizer Legends - Volume 1“ album, which is available now: The album features a collection of cover tunes of famous and less well-known instrumental synthesizer gems from the eighties. Some of the songs on the album have been part of my live repertoire for many years already, while other songs are completely new arrangements. The fourth and final single from the album is a new arrangement: Harold Faltermeyer's legendary “Top Gun Anthem“. The music was recorded using only analog synthesizers and analog drum machines: Roland Alpha Juno 1&2; JX-8P; TR-808, Korg Poly-61; Polysix, Analog Rytm mkII, Arturia Polybrute, Dave Smith Tetra, Hypersynth Xenophone, Jomox AirBase99, Marion MSR-2, Oberheim Xpander, Touched-by-Sound DRM1. (Roland JD-Xa used as controller for Poly-61 to enable pedal pitch bend) Arranged, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered by Kebu / Sebastian Teir.
