Happy Halloween! I have to say, my second favorite relationship of this show (besides Matthew and Diana) is hands down - without contest - Satu and Diana. I love how the prophecy was changed for the show to be about “two witches: one light, one dark“. In a story about heterosexual romance it can be easy to forget the importance of relationships between women (ala Twilight) but I love that ADOW doesn't fall into that trap. Whether it be Diana, Sarah, and Emily, Diana and Rebecca, Diana and Gillian, Ysebeau and Diana, and even Diana and Satu... the female relationships are integral to the telling of this story. I'm very excited to see more of their interactions in the future and see how this prophecy plays out between them. Satu and Diana have a very unique and intense chemistry.
