CONTRA HEROES, also known as Soul of Hero or Final Mission mobile (ファイナルミッション and 魂斗英雄, is a remake of side-view shoot-’em-up .: Special Cybernetic Attack Team( Final Mission) produced by eShouJi InfoTech for the J2ME platforms. The game was only released in the Asia regions in September 2005. Plot: In order to dominate the world, the Evil Legion sent air troops to control the sky. The legendary kings of air battles, known as Contra Heroes, fights the blue sky freely in order to fly freely in the sky! Gameplay: Like the original . game the player can choose between a male soldier , or a female one. There are no skill differences between the two characters. Some character sprites were taken from the arcade game Shock Troopers 2nd Squad. The player flies through the air shooting at enemies with their gun while the screen scrolls automatically horizontally or vertically until the end of each stage. While the player character can fly in 4 directions, they can only shoot their gun left or right(like the original game) the characters is surrounded by two satellite modules that will shoot at enemies the satellites are aligned in a position the player wants to maintain, they can keep the position by pressing the fire button(button “5“). Unlike the original game, the player is not able to turn the character in the opposite direction. There are 2 power-up items that can be obtained by destroying by special enemy units((or if the player loses a life), each represented by a falcon-based weapon icon from Contra 3: The Alien Wars(without any letter).Similarly to the arcade version of Super Contra, the player can pick up the same power-up twice, giving them an improved version of the same weapon. There are a total of three stages in the game, along with the usual boss player begins the game with a total of three hit points and the game will end if they are all lost, but there is an opportunity to get an extra live for every 30,000 points.
