We are excited to invite you to a special event celebrating World Poetry Day! Ana Sampson has curated a new anthology of poems about the madness and magic of motherhood, “Night Feeds and Morning Songs“. For this event she is in conversation with two of the poets whose work is included - Deborah Alma and Imogen Russell Williams - to talk about their poems, the collection, creativity and motherhood. Deborah Alma is a UK poet and teacher, who has worked for years as a writer in the community. As Emergency Poet she administered poetry on prescription from her vintage ambulance. She is editor of Emergency Poet-an anti-stress poetry anthology, #Me Too – rallying against sexual harassment- a women’s poetry anthology ,Ten Poems of Happiness and co-edited with Dr Katie Amiel These Are the Hands-Poems from the Heart of the NHS.
