В августе 2017 года мы осуществили давнюю мечту: проехали на мотоциклах Royal Enfield по самой высокогорной, опасной и красивой дороге в мире — шоссе между двумя индийскими городами Манали и Лех. Таких красивых мест на планете больше нигде не увидишь! Дорога проходит на высоте от 3000 до 5300 метров через четыре перевала сквозь Гималайский хребет. Здесь можно проехать только летом, когда весь снег на перевалах тает. Добравшись до Леха, мы не упустили возможность покорить самый высокий автомобильный перевал в мире Кардунг Ла (5602 метра), а на обратной дороге заехали на потрясающее горное озеро Цо Морири на границе с Тибетом. За 9 дней отмотали 1300 км по горам, жестко страдали от горной болезни, ночевали в лачугах местных жителей, с головы до ног пропитались дорожной пылью и бензином. We rode by motorbikes Royal Enfield through the highest, most dangerous and most beautiful road in the World — Leh-Manali Highway in India. You will never see such beautiful places all over the world! The road is located on an altitude of 3000 m to 5300 m in the Himalayas. There are 4 passes on the road. It’s possible to get here only in summer, when all of the snow is melted. Further we reached the highest motorable pass in the world – Khardung La (5602 m). While we were going back, we visited an amazing mountain lake — Tso Moriri, on the India-Tibet border. We did about 1300 km through the Himalayas mountains, suffered from altitude sickness so hard, slept in local people’s shacks. We were all in dust and gas.
