China has unveiled an FPV drone controlled via fiber-optic cable, which could potentially protect the UAV from electronic warfare. The drone can be equipped with a reel with a cable of 1, 5 or 10 km in length. For example, the weight of a reel with a 5 km long cable is only 1.1 kg.
