Hey guys, new guitar on the channel today ! It’s the flagship of the Levin company, building guitars since more than a century in Sweden ! That guitar is the European response to the Gibson Super 400 and the Epiphone Emperor with a big 18,5 inches lower bout. It is very confortable to play since it’s a little thinner than the other two. The true difference comes in the bracing pattern : this one has a single diagonal brace like Strombergs. The other Levin showcased on the channel also had that feature, but was a 17 inches (the Levin Solist, the response to the Gibson L5. Some of you will have recognize the famous headstock, since there is a Django Reinhardt picture playing a Levin Deluxe in 1947 in a club in NYC when he was a guest of the Duke Ellington big band. He then borrowed Fred Guy’s guitar for the picture, which was a Non Cut Levin Deluxe made in the late 30s. I took the opportunity to use a Django composition called « Mélodie au Crepuscule » that he composed in 1946. I’m just exposing the melody,
