VERY CLOSE The new petrol twin-turbo V6 engine in the 2025 Nissan Patrol is predicted to provide 336 kW more power than the LandCruiser 300. Last month at the New York Motor Show, the QX80 large luxury SUV was presented by Infiniti, Nissan's equivalent of Lexus in Toyota. The car was intriguing enough without the accompanying SUV, but that beast was trying to hide in the corner. There has been no word on a new Patrol just yet, but the Infiniti QX80 is a high-end version of it. On the other hand, we may learn a lot about Nissan's impending Y63 version of their legendary huge SUV from the QX80's debut. This version is expected to compete with LandCruiser in their ongoing off-road prowess contest. The Y63 Patrol, which will be available in Australia, is set to be released in 2025.
