Chord Company EpicX ARAY analogue audio interconnects

A long-time Chord Company favourite with genuine audiophile pedigree and hand built in UK. Similar in design to our Shawline cable but enjoying heavier gauge, silver-plated conductors with uprated internal geometry. As the name suggests, EpicX ARAY features our unique ARAY technology and is now further upgraded with the latest XLPE insulation. EpicX ARAY analogue cables are fitted with ChorAlloy™ plated RCA, DIN or XLR connectors. Available in 0.5 and 1m lengths with custom lengths and terminations to order. High-performance XLPE insulation upgrade: The construction and specification of Chord Company cables are constantly evolving, allowing us to adapt quickly and take advantage of the latest technology. Insulation materials in particular have made great leaps forward which is why we are moving to XLPE (Cross-linked polyethylene) for EpicX ARAY. After a succesful introduction via various Chord Company speaker cables it was logical to share the benefits of XLPE insulation with our interconnects. On the surface this would appear to be a fairly simple undertaking but, like many of these things, it got complicated.. Several versions and much field testing later we are very happy to announce that XLPE will now be incorporated into all Epic analogue interconnects. The new upgraded EpicX ARAY analogue cable retains the same high-performance shielding architecture and ARAY technology as its predecessor.
