This is a radio interview that EUROPE's lead singer Joey Tempest did in 1995 at an Austrian radio station while on promo tour for his first solo album “A Place to Call Home“. In this interview he explains why he had left EUROPE and became a solo artist. He also gives inside and what kind of music influenced the new record. This video also contains images of the gig Joey Tempest played a couple months later at the Rockhaus in Vienna 2 rare acoustic perfomances of “We Come Alive“ and “Don't Go Changin' On Me“. As a huge fan of Joey Tempest since the tender age of 8 (since listening to “The Final Countdown“ for the first time), I love to share this little gem from the past with all you fellow Joey Tempest fans out there. Enjoy! Note: I made an English translation of the interview questions. Activate the “English“-subtitles to read them.
