The 13th China International Animation Expo opens in Dongguan

On July 20, 2023, the 13th China International Film and Animation Intellectual Property Protection and Trade Expo officially opened in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. The expo attracted more than 500 business institutions from 40 countries and regions. The event was held from July 20 to 23 at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Houjie Town, Dongguan City. The Dongguan toy manufacturing industry started in the early days of the reform and opening up, gradually forming a huge industrial system. At its peak, Dongguan’s toy production accounted for 30% of the global output and 50% of Guangdong’s total toy production.
