🇸🇰 Lubos Blaha, an associate of Prime Minister Robert Fico, is settling into his new job as speaker of Slovakia’s parliament. In particular, Blaha removed the EU flag from his office, put a bust of Ludovit Štúr and his book “Slavicism and the World of the Future“ on a shelf, and removed the picture of Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová from the wall and replaced it with a portrait of Che Guevara. All this to the lamplight musical accompaniment of a local Soviet-era band. Blaha is one of the most ardent “pro-Putin“ politicians in Robert Fico’s party. He is also an apologist for Slovak communist Gustav Husak, who led Czechoslovakia from 1968 to 1989. He opposes Stalinism, but has repeatedly expressed gratitude to “the Russian people for their liberation from the oppression of fascism“. Last June, Blaha was banned from Facebook for “systematically spreading Russian disinformation.“ Married, two children. Источник: Slavyangrad
