This is the first Chinese song from Yunnan that went viral on YouTube back in the day. It was also the first of these folk songs I heard. Often called the “awesome asian song“ or “awesome chinese song,“ this song comes from the Yunan region on of China I finally had time to translate it (again). I translated this once in 2013, I believe, but I cannot find the comment I made on the video (I talk about it more in my reflection at the end), so I'm going to translate it again for everyone.
