Bio By She Rox,All Female Bands: Los Angeles,California and the Sunset Strip were infamous for launching careers of it's local bands in the mid to late 1980's such as Poison and Motley Crue, but the famed club circuit of L.A lacked the presence of many female musicians with the exception of a few, Bootleg began in 1987 and quickly became a leader for females in the club circuit proving women were far more then video vixens or groupies for the local male bands, and that women could play just as loud as the men and in most cases better. Along with bands like Vixen and Jaded Lady, Bootleg gained a large local following for holding their own in this boys club, with their hard hitting blues tinged rock highlighted by vocalist Suzi Sphereious raspy growl, and by solidifying their sound by adding bassist prodigy Leigh Cadwallader. Bootleg dominated the club circuit for over five years and released several demos before 1991. Drummer Claudia Rossi would resurface in two successful all female L.A based bands,
