Spain: Pig heads hurled at police during protest over Catalan presidents suspension

Thousands took to the streets of Barcelona on Monday night to protest the decision of the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia to suspend president of the autonomous community, Quim Torra, for disobedience. Footage shows protesters during the action, which was called by the Committees for the Defense of the Republic (CDR), marching with signs and banners while chanting slogans. At one point a police barrier of the Mossos d’Esquadra prevented the march from con
