The Star Wars expanded universe is a pathway to many stories some would consider to be non-canon. You can learn these stories, but not from a mouse. Btw, Disney had demonetized this, but we prevailed and over came their cruel tyranny. Yes, we're aware that the Clone Wars has survived the Purge.
