The Morgan at 100

Celebrating 100 years of illuminating the creative process! 2024 is a big year for the Morgan Library & Museum. To celebrate, we’re diving deeper into our vast collections to bring you some of our most treasured books, objects, and artifacts! Over the past century, following the vision of our founders, we have grown our collections across varied media, expanded our physical footprint, and become a global resource for research and conservation. As the Morgan has evolved into one of New York's most beloved cultural destinations, we are happy to share what our staff, collaborators and friends love about us in this video. The Morgan library houses some of the greatest works of human creativity from 4000 BCE to the present, preserving the cultural memory of countless great artists, writers, and historical figures. Now, more than ever, we need places to come together, learn, and exchange ideas, and that’s exactly what the Morgan provides.
