Giant Catapult - the only device of its kind in the world, launches 9-ton plane into the air at 60 miles per hour!“ Introductory intertitle reads: “In the air in 34 yds. instead of 300! See this thrill at RAF Pageant on June 27th at Hendon!“ Farnborough, Hampshire. Various shots of large biplane bomber on airfield, it appear to be attached to large mechanical device. People are wandering around the plane. Shots of the mechanical catapult which will launch the plane. Shots of the plane with its engines started. The plane prepares to take off.
