These days, when it comes to viewership, branding, licensing and profits, World Wrestling Entertainment is an absolute machine. In the mid 90s though, Eric Bischoff and WCW wanted to take on the WWE and knock Vince McMahon off the number 1 spot. While many people laughed at Eric's vision of running the best wrestling company in the United States, he shocked everyone when WCW began defeating the WWF in the Monday Night television ratings. Eric Bischoff began his WCW career as a low broadcaster. He would conduct backstage interviews and generally do the jobs that the main commentators in WCW didn't want to do.
