In a self-imposed experiment, Dr. David Yang’s family wants to discover the criteria an AI companion needs to qualify as a family member. Dr. Yang created , an AI companion capable of speaking human language, cracking jokes, taking offense, feeling bored or in love, and composing music. companion has digital oxytocin, digital dopamine and some other variables in charge of his digital emotions.
